I love to travel, and I love nature — butterflies, the colours of the sky, sunsets, fall, even snowflakes. This is where I keep those photos, each one with the place, the date, and a little story behind it.

01 — On the road

Travel

I love to travel. Some trips are long, some are just an afternoon drive out of the city — but every one of them leaves me with a photo and a story.

The water went completely flat right before the sun dropped. I stood on the dock and didn't say a word for ten minutes — the kind of quiet that resets everything.

No real plan, just a full tank and a good playlist. The Prairies give you so much sky that the drive itself becomes the destination.

02 — Small wonders

Nature & butterflies

Butterflies, wildflowers, the little details most people walk past — these are my favourite things to slow down for.

It landed and stayed just long enough for one frame. I always think of butterflies as a reminder that beautiful things usually arrive quietly.

03 — Colours of the sky

Sunsets & skies

Manitoba skies are the best show in town, and it's free every single evening. I have far too many photos of them and no regrets.

I pulled over on the shoulder for this one. Pink, orange, violet — all of it changing by the minute. Ten minutes later it was gone.

04 — Fall & winter

Seasons

Fall colours, first frost, and yes — snowflakes. I've been collecting photos of them for years, one winter at a time.

Fall is short here, so you learn to go for the walk the day the colour peaks instead of waiting for the weekend.

Every one of them is different, and they only last a few seconds on your glove. Collecting them with a camera is the only way to keep them.

05 — Through the lens

The gear, the slow mornings, and the quiet corners of home where most of these photos get sorted through.
